Jerry Johnson Hot Springs Hike

Take a relaxing soak in one of Mother Nature’s natural hot tubs along the Jerry Johnson Hot Springs Hike. This easy-going, pleasant hike to the springs involves a walk through a corridor of towering pines and cedars to the rock-sculpted pool on the creek. Setting out from the trailhead on the north side of Lochsa River. From here, you will take the Warm Springs Creek Trail across the bridge over the river. After crossing the river, you will confront an intersection; veer right here, and you will begin your adventure into the woodlands, running parallel to Warm Springs Creek. Revel in the beauty of the tree canopy and the adorning wildflowers that carpet the forest floor.

After some hiking, you will reach the Jerry Johnson Hot Springs. Luxuriate in the warm pool that sits along the creek and admire the beauty of the encompassing meadow. When you are through indulging in the springs, head back along the path the way you came.
