Fish Creek Loop Hike Description

Unwind and relax as you wander the Fish Creek Loop Hike. This versatile adventure beckons the exploration of hikers, mountain bikers, and horseback riders in the summer months and in the winter—snowmobilers. No matter the season, you can expect wonderful views, so make sure your camera is charged. Note there are several routes in this network of trails, so while not necessary, the trail GPS will ensure easy navigation.

Departing from the Fish Creek Trailhead, the Fish Creek Loop travels southwestwardly through the Fish Creek Group Use Campground and into the trail system. Turn left and follow the Fish Creek Trail into the woodlands when you reach an intersection. This winding path will progressively climb, passing through meadows and over picturesque creeks. Follow the Fish Creek Trail until you ultimately reach a junction with the Boundary Cutoff—keep right here. The lovely path will guide you to the Fish Creek Warming Hut. Explore the isolated cabin, then merge onto the eastbound branch of Debbie’s Cutoff.

At the trail’s end, turn left onto the Cabin Trail, which leads through lush forests. Eventually, you will reconnect with the Fish Creek Trail—keep left and hike back to the trailhead, marking the end of your adventure.
