Stanley Falls Hike Description

From the Beauty Creek Wilderness Hostel, find the trail sign and make your way to the east side, where you will find a flat trail that parallels the highway after 0.2mi. Stay on this surprisingly picturesque roadside trail for 0.3mi before steering left into the woods and joining the Beauty Creek canyon.

Continue hiking through the canyon section along the flowing creek for 1.1mi, where you will reach the falls. This hike has endless water features that are all worth a stop. The lush forest that surrounds the creek is filled with rocky sections. You’ll feel reminiscent of Banff’s Johnston Canyon at times when the turquoise water contrasts with the green forest.

When you reach the falls, you will find a flat rocky section perfect for a picnic. Explore the shores below the falls and play in the water before turning back the way you came.

The photo above is of Tangle Creek Falls, right off the highway. This is not an image of Stanley Falls.
