Hike through dense pine forests, through aspen groves, and up to a lush meadow that exposes views of the rolling front hills. If we could consider one trail to be the ultimate half-day hike, it would be this one. With the perfect ratio of strenuity and scenery, the John Frazer Cabin via Blue Grouse Trail packs a punch. Though this route can be ventured year-round, we love this hike in the fall as the golden aspens are at their peak vibrance.
