Seal Bay Horse & Bike Loop Description

Although the trail can sometimes be a bit muddy after a heavy rainfall, the Seal Bay Horse & Bike Loop is a meticulously maintained hiking route that offers the opportunity to explore the forests of the Seal Bay Nature Park via a strong network of trails.

Setting out from the parking area, cross over the road to the west and pick up the trail on the other side to enter into the forest. From here, follow along the well-maintained paths as they wind in between the large, moss-covered trees and other types of plant life that blanket the landscape in a vibrant green colour. The northern part of the trail is a bit rocky, but this smooths out along the southern portion to provide a gently undulating trail through the forest that will eventually bring you back to the trailhead where you began your hike. If you are looking to extend your journey, try exploring some of the other trails that dissect the park.
