The West Pleasant Creek Trail is a beautiful hike along a very pleasant stream that flows year round. Before heading out on this trail, it is very important to check the forecast. Flash flooding along Pleasant Creek can be extremely dangerous, so do not attempt this hike if you see rain on the horizon and turn back if you see clouds building. From the trailhead, follow the creek westward until you reach the confluence of Pleasant Creek and Sulphur Creek. This is a good spot to turn around and follow the creek back up to the trailhead.
