The Brimhall Natural Bridge trail is an awesome adventure for experienced hikers. This trail leads you through the twists and turns of Brimhall Canyon over many obstacles up to the Brimhall Natural Bridge. This pothole style double arch is just as cool as the route to get there.

Brimhall Natural Bridge Description

The Brimhall Natural Bridge Trail is a challenging route for experienced hikers. To reach the bridge itself, you will have to navigate your way through Brimhall Canyon over sections of rockfall, and through potholes that are sometimes filled with water. If you are going during the spring, be sure to pack your gear in a dry bag and be prepared to get wet. For the prepared hiker, this route is a whole lot of fun and an awesome challenge in a little-seen section of Capitol Reef National Park.

From the trailhead, follow the path northwest then descend the switchbacks southwest down to Halls Creek. Cross over Halls Creek and make your way into Brimhall Canyon. Continue down the canyon for just under a mile to Brimhall Natural Bridge.

Take a break at the bridge before turning around and following your footsteps back to the trailhead.
