Wentworth Falls, Fletcher’s Lookout and Rocket Point Lookout Track in Blue Mountains National Park, Australia, is a fantastic walking adventure for the whole family! You will have to navigate many stairs, but they won’t elevate your heart rate too much. It’s best to time this adventure for a couple of days after rain for the best waterfall views. Note that there are several tracks in the area, so if you want to stick to the one outlined here, download a GPS before going.
Once you lace up your hiking shoes and hit the trail, you’ll almost feel overwhelmed with the crazy scenic viewpoints speckled throughout the Wentworth Falls, Fletcher’s Lookout and Rocket Point Lookout Track. This hike packs a lot into two and a bit short kilometres!
Setting out from the Wentworth Pass Walking Track trailhead, walk towards Jamison Lookout before veering left at the fork to walk to the Wentworth Falls lookout. Pause here to admire the flowing falls before continuing along Wentworth Falls Track. Keep along the same path, ignoring the Weeping Rock Circuit trail on your left.
After veering the corner passing Weeping Rock Circuit path, continue straight to Fletcher’s Lookout. Revel in the scenery here. Then, retrace your last few steps before going left on the Wentworth Falls Track to head to Rocket Point Lookout.
When you’re finished marvelling at the scenery, continue around the loop to meet back up with the path that took you to Fletcher’s Lookout. When you reach the same fork in the road, the one you encountered just after viewing Fletcher’s Lookout and turning onto Wentworth Falls Track, you’ll continue straight through it to reach Undercliff Track.
Follow this path towards Princes Rock Lookout. Check out the views before returning to Jamison Lookout and the car park.
