Sassafras Gully, Victory Track, and Magala Gully Loop Walk Description

Sassafras Gully, Victory Track, and Magala Gully Loop Walk take you into a lovely, shaded area with beautiful flora! The creek alongside the walking path only adds to the natural wonder of this outdoor adventure in Blue Mountains National Park. You’ll reach a few points worth revelling in, such as Martins Falls, Picnic Point, Lawsons Lookout, and Magdala Falls, to name a few. However, check out for closures along the path, as this area is susceptible to geological changes and wet conditions.

Setting out from your car, you’ll follow the Magdala Gully Track before going left to walk by Picnic Point. Continue along Valley Road and then turn left onto Sassafras Gully Road. For the most part, the track hugs the creek, creating endless picturesque views! Eventually, the path morphs into Victory Track. Continue winding around the loop, passing Perch Ponds campsite and then Martin Falls shortly after. Make your way around the top of the loop and continue towards Lawsons Lookout. After stepping off the main track to check this view out, go straight in your car’s direction to complete the walk!
