Saturday Night Lake Loop Trail Description
The Saturday Night Lake Loop is a relatively easy loop that can be done in two or three days. For the two day option, we recommend hiking the easy 5.7mi to Minnow Lake to spend your first night. Hike 9.6mi on your second day back to the trailhead to finish the loop. To extend your trip, hike 5.5mi on the second day to spend a night at Saturday Night Lake. You will hike 4.1mi to the trailhead on the final day. This is the best option for families with children.
The trail travels through a quiet forest passing Minnow Lake, High Lakes, and Saturday Night Lake. It is one of the few backpacking routes that begins and ends at the same trailhead, making it an excellent option for those who don’t have time for extra logistics.
