Big Bear Discovery Center Nature Trail

For hikers that are looking for an effortless day of fun outdoors with young children, the Big Bear Discovery Center Nature Trail is a great way to learn about the environment while also getting a bit of exercise.

Setting out from the parking lot, you will make your way past the Discovery Center and onto the trail, following it north past the amphitheatre and through the forest. Here, you will complete a short loop through the picturesque woodland landscape, while learning interesting facts about the local plant and animal species through a series of informative signs. After completing the loop, you will follow your initial path back to the parking area where you began your adventure.
