Lynn Canyon Park Loop Description

As the Lynn Canyon area is home to several highly-trafficked trails, be sure that you arrive early to beat the crowds and get a decent parking spot close by. While this hike is family-friendly, be careful in the areas around the canyon, as there are steep drop-offs.

This 1.4km hike is the perfect morning or afternoon trip for families looking to get out and enjoy nature. Kids will love the thrill of crossing over the swaying suspension bridge, as well as the sights of the majestic Twin Falls as the water rushes into the canyon below. This is an easy trail that everyone will enjoy.

Setting out from the parking area, make your way past the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre toward the Lynn Valley Suspension Bridge. Using the bridge to cross over the canyon below, pause for a moment to witness the rushing water pass beneath your feet.

Continue past the bridge, and you will soon reach a series of three trail junctions. Keep right at each of these as you make your way south along the Lynn Canyon Loop. Follow the trail for 1312ft as it winds through the forest, where you will eventually come upon Twin Falls. Stand atop the falls and watch the water crashing on the rocks below before crossing the bridge and making your way back to the car park.
