The scenic South Stoke Circular Walk takes you along the River Arun. Climb to the top of South Downs National Park and take in the captivating views that surround you. Stop at the Black Rabbit pub at the beginning and end of this path for a bite and a pint!
Getting there
To get to the start of the South Stoke Circular Walk from Arundel, head southeast on High Street toward Maltravers Street, and after 0.1mi, at the roundabout, take the first exit onto Mill Road. Continue straight for 1.4mi, and turn left in 0.2mi. In 0.1mi, turn right, and you will arrive at your destination in 0.7mi.

South Stoke Circular Walk Description
The South Stoke Circular Walk takes you along the River Arun, and to the top of South Downs National Park, where incredible views await. Beginning at the castle car park located behind the Arundel Museum, follow the path and cross the River Arun along the bridge. Continue to follow the River Arun along the South Downs Way until you reach the gates for Arundel Park, go through this and begin walking uphill. Take in the views and continue along the path until you pass Arundel Castle. This Castle is a stunning piece of artwork which should be explored. Once you finish, continue on the South Downs Way until you reach the castle car park where you started.
