Buck Mountain Trail Description
From the Sibbald Lake trailhead at the day use area, take the trail to the right, walking past Sibbald Lake. In the first kilometre, you will pass many small junctions that lead to the campground and various parking areas, make sure you stay on the main trail. Join the Ole Buck Loop trail after 0.6mi and stay right, hiking the trail in a counterclockwise direction. In 2625ft, you will pass a junction with the descent route from the summit. Continue gaining elevation steadily to reach the summit. From the top, make your way down for 2625ft before taking the descent route on the right. This will make the descent a bit easier on your body. Meet up with the main trail at the flats and head back to Sibbald Lake.
