Jane Lakes Trail Description
The Jane Lakes Trail is a beautiful hiking route near Whistler that features a moderate uphill climb through the forest and only receives a light amount of foot traffic, making it ideal if you are looking for a bit of peace and quiet while out on the trail. Largely blanketed in dense tree cover, this trail does offer some amazing views, particularly of nearby Black Tusk but also of the tranquil waters of the Jane Lakes.
Trekking up to these woodland bodies of water will take hikers through the Whistler Interpretive Forest, first along an old logging road, before transitioning to a dirt hiking path that contains a few more technical sections with roots and rocks. Reaching East Jane Lake, hikers should follow the trail signs to make their way around the water on a route leading to West Jane Lake. After enjoying the woodland landscape and going for a quick swim, head back along the same path to wrap up your journey on the Jane Lakes Trail.
