Route Description for Witty’s Lagoon with Tower Point
Witty’s Lagoon is an easy hike that families love to do! You can opt to walk Tower Point or take the Beach Trail on separate days, but this hike blends the two into one enjoyable meander.
When you arrive, park at the Tower Point Parking Lot. From here, you’ll start by walking along the Witty’s Lagoon Regional Park trail, which loops around the park, providing a myriad of lookout points of the coast en route. To reach Tower Point, you need to stay on the outside trail. Eventually, the trail loops back to where you began, which is where the second part—the out-and-back portion—of this lovely hike begins!
Follow Olympic View Dr until you reach Lagoon Trail, which will eventually unfold into the Beach Trail. Just after turning onto this trail, you’ll have the chance to check out Sitting Lady Falls, which towers over Bliston Creek. Return to the main path.
The Beach Trail then descends some stairs and onto a dirt path. Continue winding along the trail, crossing two more wooden bridges before you get to the beach! Once you’re ready to leave the ocean, go back the same way you came.
