The Blythe Lake Trail is a very pretty hike in the western Uintas. This short and sweet trail sees little traffic and requires some navigation and route-finding skills. Dogs are welcome to join you on your hike to Blythe Lake but must be kept on leash at all times.
Getting there
This hike begins at the Mirror Lake Campground on the east side of Highway 150, 31.5mi from Kamas, Utah.

Blythe Lake Trail Description
The Blythe Lake trail is a short and sweet hike from the Mirror Lake Campground in the western Uintas. This trail can be tricky to find, so we recommend downloading the trail map ahead of time to aid in navigation. Blythe Lake itself is a gorgeous little lake tucked away from the crowds of the Mirror Lake Campground and recreation area. If you are looking for a secluded spot to enjoy an afternoon surrounded by the beauty of the Utah wilderness, the Blythe Lake Trail is the perfect hike for you.
Beginning at the parking area in the southeast corner of the Mirror Lake Campground, follow the unmaintained trail northeast over a small stream and past a pond up to Blythe Lake.
Enjoy an afternoon on the shores of Blythe Lake and soak in the peace and serenity of your surroundings. When you are ready to head home, simply retrace your steps back to the Mirror Lake Campground, where you began.
