Slindon Park Circular Walk Description

The Slindon Park Circular Walk is a beautiful stroll that takes you through the unspoilt village of Slindon, along the old Medieval Deer Park and through the beech-abundant woodlands. Beginning from the car park, continue along the path, which in spring and summer, is full of bluebells, and make your way until you reach an information board, where a small beach is. When you are finished here, continue, and you will see Druid’s Grove, a beautiful gathering of the surviving beech trees in the area.

As you move on, you will come to The Forge, which used to be the community blacksmith, where you can stop for delicious refreshments and recharge. They had a wide variety of snacks, drinks and wifi, and on warm summer days, some people enjoy sitting outside and taking in the views of the fields in the distance. Continuing, you will pass pastures full of sheep before returning to the car park where you began.
