Baldwin and Templeton Trail Description

Combining Baldwin and Templeton Trails provides a hike or mountain biking trail that is mostly flat but very scenic. This route is suitable for all ages and all skill levels and offers awesome views. You’ll be right next to Cathedral Rock on the east side of the trail, which is one of Sedona’s top points of interest.

This hike is not in the shade, and Sedona can get quite hot in the summertime. We recommend bringing more water than you think you might need and packing a hat and sunscreen if you’re visiting on a hot day. There’s no water available on this trail.

Beginning from the trailhead, take Baldwin Trail alongside Oak Creek. Where the trail splits, keep left onto Tempelton Trail. This will take you beside Cathedral Rock. Our route ends at the start of the switchbacks, where you can turn back and retrace your steps.
