Begin your journey along the Taylor Park Reservoir Trail from the River’s End Campground. From here, track south along Route 742, a shared dirt road. As you travel along the shoreline of the crystalline reservoir, you will be tempted to jump in, but don’t let the blue hue deceive you, it is extremely chilly! Follow the path, reveling in the panoramas of the dramatic mountains that line the horizon.

Follow this route all the way to Texas Creek. From here, simply turn around and retrace your footing all the way back to the trailhead, marking the end of your adventure.
