Olympus Hills Park Description
The Olympus Hills Park hiking loop is a great hike for the whole family. This trail can get icy in the winter, so if you are hiking at that time of year, traction devices such as microspikes are strongly recommended. Hiking poles or a walking stick can also help with balance as you navigate the slippery sections. For most of the year, however, this is an easy, well-maintained trail through the beautiful Olympus Hills Park in Holladay. Whether you are a local or spending a holiday in Holladay, this short hike is a great way to get out and enjoy a nature walk with the whole family.
From the parking lot, follow the trail counterclockwise as it loops around Olympus Hills Park. There are plenty of little dirt paths branching off from the main trail that can be fun to explore with kids or dogs. Please keep in mind that dogs must be on leash for the duration of their hike.
After you are done exploring the park, keep following the main trail as it guides you back to the parking lot.
