Stiletto Lake via Twisp Pass Trail Description

To not beat around the bush, you’ll be beating through the bush on the hike to Stiletto Lake via Twisp Pass Trail. This trail isn’t well-maintained and it’s quite overgrown. You’ll deal with blowdown and unaided creek crossings as well. The reward is getting to savor a quiet, uninterrupted trail and the solitude of the lake.

Keep an eye on your GPS for this route and turn back if any of the crossings seem unsafe.

Begin from the PCT trailhead, dropping south to hike through the valley. Just before the T-intersection of McAlester, take the trail on your left for Twisp Pass. You’ll be dealing with steady elevation gain while battling through the aforementioned conditions, but just keep going.

Pass small Dagger Lake underneath Twisp Mountain before winding past a smaller unnamed lake en route to Stiletto Lake, which has stellar views. From here, you’ll need to retrace your steps back to the trailhead.
