Twin Firs Loop Trail Description
The Twin Firs Loop is a super short, very easy walk in the woods that makes for a great warm-up or cool down to a day in the park. You can be in and out in 10 minutes or linger a while to enjoy the tall fir trees that line the trail.
Note that there is some bad trail braiding here that makes some hikers lose their way. Be sure to go left and loop around. If you follow the path that goes to the right it’s very easy to lose the trail.
You’ll begin at the trailhead, going left. Walk among the huge trees, watching for banana slugs and other local wildlife. There are some spur trails, so download your GPS if you think you might be tempted off-track. Looping clockwise, you’ll arrive back at the trailhead in short order.
