Hiking up to the Hollywood Sign via Innsdale Trail is a beautifully scenic experience in Los Angeles that not only takes you to a viewpoint for the iconic landmark, but actually up to the sign itself. While out on this hike, you will meander along the Innsdale Trail as it climbs uphill to the Hollywood Sign viewpoint, before pushing on to the summit of Mount Lee for incredible views of the city from above the sign itself. This is a fantastic adventure to undertake if you want to experience the wow factor of L.A. without the need to traverse a challenging trail.

If you are keen on taking in the views of the iconic Hollywood Sign, but also want to press on and enjoy sweeping views of the Los Angeles area, then the Hollywood Sign via Innsdale Trail is a great option to explore.
Setting out from the Innsdale Trailhead, you will follow the path as it leads east and eventually meets up with Mulholland. From here, you will follow the road to the northeast to reach the best viewpoint looking onto the Hollywood Sign and surrounding hills.
Continuing on to the northeast along Mount Lee Drive, the road will climb uphill and eventually turn to the west, where you will quickly arrive at the summit of Mount Lee. Take some time to appreciate the views over both the sign and the city of Los Angeles below, before turning back along the same trail for a return to your starting point.
