Walking the Ullock Pike & Skiddaw Circular is a challenging journey that will take you up the steep hillside and along a rugged ridge to the summits of several majestic peaks. The terrain here can be a bit rough and rocky underfoot, so make sure to bring any necessary gear, including good walking boots and poles for stability on the trail. Additionally, the majority of this route is exposed to the elements. Check the weather prior to setting out and take any necessary precautions.

Setting out from the roadside parking area, the trail will initially take you east along the slopes of Barkbeth Hill before turning south to climb the ridgeline to the summit of Ullock Pike.
