Eagle Cliffs Lucky Boy Vista Loop Description
The Eagle Cliffs Lucky Boy Vista Loop requires some light bouldering, and is therefore a more physically demanding route. Due to these physical requirements, this is not a route that is recommended for young children. Navigation can also be difficult throughout the route’s duration, and so please ensure that your skills and equipment are sufficient enough to attempt.
The trailhead for the Eagle Cliffs Lucky Bot Vista Loop can be found at the southern section of the parking lot. Once located, follow the Split Rock Trail southwest over what is relatively flat terrain. The trail will then veer sharply to the west for a few hundred feet before veering once again to the north. The route will continue north until you reach a stream. Once you reach the stream, the trail will head alongside it before changing course north onto the Lucky Boy Vista Loop.
The route will follow the Lucky Boy Vista Loop for only a short time before a junction is reached. At the junction, take the northerly path as it steadily climbs in elevation. The trail will continue to climb in elevation as it sharply veers to the east. After a short plateau, the pathway heads southward and dramatically declines in elevation. With the majority of the elevation fluctuation completed, you will pass one more stream, and arrive at the parking lot not long after.
