Moose Lake Hike Description
From the parking lot, head towards the public washrooms and find the trail behind the washrooms that leads towards the lake. You will see a dock and boat launch area that day-use paddlers will be using. Stay right hugging the shore, following signs for Moose Lake.
After 0.2mi of parallelling the shore, you will pass the Warden’s compound equipped with a cabin and dock. 0.1mi from the warden’s dock, you will come to a junction. Stay right following the Moose Lake sign. The trail to the left stays on the shoreline. 2297ft from this junction you will reach Moose Lake. The trail wraps around the lake’s shore for 328ft before heading back into the woods for another 328ft before reaching a junction.
Stay right at this junction and hike for 0.6mi before you reach the Bald Hills trail on an old fire road. Take a right and finish the final 984ft to the parking lot along this road.
