Getting there
To get to Cottonwood Creek trail, walk north on Connaught Drive in the town of Jasper and turn left on Geickie. Before the road turns to the right, continue straight and join the trail in the woods taking a right when you find the trail.

Cottonwood Creek Trail Description
Begin the Cottonwood Creek trail with a climb of roughly 197ft onto Pyramid Bench where many trails intersect. You will follow signs for trail #2 while on the Cottonwood Creek trail. You’ll be able to see the townsite with an incredible view of mountain ranges in the distance. Follow trail signs until you intersect with Pyramid Lake Road where you will see Cottonwood Slough. There is a large parking lot here.
Turn around and head back to town the way you came, or you can choose to extend your trip and continue to Pyramid Lake.
