Getting there
To get to the Cabin Lake Trail, head north on Connaught in downtown Jasper and take a left onto Pyramid Lake Drive. Pass the Jasper Highschool and turn left onto Bonhomme Street. The parking lot is on your right.

Cabin Lake Hike Description
The trailhead for Cabin Lake is the starting point for many other trails, so be sure to check the trail sign. Follow the main trail and make a right onto the trail signed for Cabin Lake. There are many trails here, but everything is well signed, so don’t worry too much. You can add distance to this route by taking some of the neighbouring trails.
You will pass by a smaller lake on your way to Cabin Lake, which the trail reaches after 2.0mi. Enjoy the secluded lakeshore before continuing on the loop back to the parking lot. Watch for signs at the junctions as you hike on. You may see backpackers on their way to Saturday Night Lake or some travelling along the extended loop that includes both Cabin Lake and Mina Lake.
