Carn Ban Mor Walk Description

For those adventurers that enjoy getting out into the mountains to explore the beautifully scenic views and revel in the chance to explore the snowy peaks and ridges, then the Carn Ban Mor Walk will be an ideal route. While the upper portions of this trail will often contain patches of snow, be sure to exercise all caution if you plan on exploring them.

Setting out from the car park, you will make your way to the south along Achlean Road, roughly following along the River Feshie before branching off to the east to begin climbing uphill. Here, you will traverse the rugged and often snow-covered terrain along the slopes of Carn Ban Mor to reach the summit, where you will have breathtaking views of Cairngorms National Park.

After experiencing the sights, you will carefully make your way back downhill along the same trail until you arrive back near the banks of the River Feshie. Heading to the south, you will make your way alongside the river to explore the glen, before turning back to the north on the return to the trailhead where you began.
