While out hiking the trail, you will traverse a fire road that cuts through Sullivan Canyon and is lined with a variety of beautiful trees. This is an excellent route if you are looking for a bit of a longer hike near the city.

The trailhead for the Sullivan Canyon Trail can be found along Queensferry Road, near Rustic Canyon Park.

Looking to leave the concrete jungle behind? Then the Sullivan Canyon Trail is the perfect adventure to get out of the city and experience the beauty of nature.
Setting out from the starting point on Queensferry Road, you will make your way to the northwest through Sullivan Canyon, keeping right at a junction onto the fire road. Here, you will begin hiking north through the peaceful wooded landscape of the canyon.
After working your way through the entirety of the canyon, the trail will begin climbing uphill for sweeping views of the Los Angeles area. From here, simply turn back along the trail and retrace your steps to the starting point.
