Bear Lake Trail Description
Bear Lake Trail is a short, easy hike to the shore of Bear Lake. There are a variety of activities on offer here, and the trip is easy enough that families and beginners should have no problem. The road to the trailhead is another story, though. Don’t be surprised if you need to park a ways away and walk in as the potholes are severe.
The trail begins on the west side of the road, just north of the creek crossing. You’ll hike nearly directly west, continuing straight at a junction with another trail. When you reach the lake, there is a small animal trail that leads around the shoreline, or you can just set up camp where you arrive at the lake.
When you’re ready, retrace your steps to the trailhead.
