Snoquera Falls Trail Description
Snoquera Falls itself is rather small and not easy to see from this trail, but the vibrancy of the forest you’ll hike through to reach the falls makes this trip worth doing. This trail is also often hiked as a loop, but this path follows an out-and-back approach. Note that this approach is a bit rocky and narrow, so those with small children may prefer to follow the loop route guide for the Snoquera Falls Loop Trail and go out-and-back on the clockwise side of the trail, which is a bit easier than this side of the trail.
The route begins near Camp Sheppard, following Snoquera Falls Trail to the right past the amphitheater. Hike on wide switchbacks through a green forest. The rockiest section of the trail is just before the falls, which you likely won’t be able to spot all that clearly. They can be seen more directly with a bit of climbing.
Once you’re ready, retrace your steps through the forest to return to the parking area.
