Difficulty Rating:
The Furzey Lane Circular Walk is a dog walker’s favourite! Potentially this is because it’s called Furzey? Or maybe we’re just crazy for thinking that. Other than taking your canine companion along, you might as well invite your family or friends just getting into walking because the short distance and gentle elevation gain while exploring a lovely forest setting makes for a great first-time adventure.

Furzey Lane Circular Walk Description
The Furzey Lane Circular Walk sets out from Furzey Lodge near Brockenhurst and takes you into a scenic forest setting. The best part about this hike—other than the fact that it’s an excellent walk for anyone seeking a slow and easy adventure—is that it follows a gravel track, so it doesn’t tend to get super muddy. (We would still advise wearing proper waterproof footwear during wetter months.) Do note that this is a lollipop route, meaning you’ll walk from Furzey Lodge toward Hawkhill Inclosure, where you’ll loop through it before taking the same path back to your car.
