Lynn Headwater Trail to Norvan Falls Description
The Lynn Headwaters Trail is an amazing day hike through the beautifully green forests of Lynn Headwaters Regional Park, that will lead you to the picturesque Norvan Falls. This 11.3mi loop passes through some pretty muddy terrain due to the many mountain streams in the area. Make sure to wear proper hiking footwear and watch your footing, as the trail can become quite slippery.
Setting off on the trail from the parking lot, make your way across the bridge over Lynn Creek and register as a hiker in the area near the big sign. Follow the trail to the right to make your way around the southern edge of the Lynn Loop Trail, passing through its beautiful forests of Hemlock and Douglas Fir.
Continue north at the junction to transition onto the Headwaters Trail, as it crosses over countless streams, before hitting a junction with the Norvan Falls Trail. Follow this short trail to the right and you will soon see the picturesque Norvan Falls with its water crashing onto the rocks below.
After spending some time taking in the sights, head back to the Headwaters Trail, turning left and continuing until you reach another junction. Follow this to the right, skirting alongside the banks of Lynn Creek, as you make your way back to the parking lot.
