Hellroaring Creek Trail to The Yellowstone River Description

The Hellroaring Creek Trail to the Yellowstone River Suspension Bridge is a gorgeous route in Yellowstone National Park. On the Hellroaring Creek Trail, you will follow the path on a steep descent down to a suspension bridge that spans the Yellowstone River. This trail is more challenging on the return trip, so save water and energy for your hike out. With stunning views the whole way, this route is the perfect way to spend an afternoon exploring the Wyoming wilderness.

Beginning at the Hellroaring Creek Trailhead, follow the path northward as it descends to the Yellowstone River. Check out the bridge that spans the river and capture some epic photos before turning around and retracing your steps back to the Hellroaring Creek Trailhead, where you began.

This route does continue along the Hellroaring Creek Trail for many miles. The full Hellroaring Creek Trail can be done as a long day-hike or an overnight backpacking trip.
