White Queen Hike Description

The White Queen Hike is a challenging hike that will take you uphill through the charming meadows and dense forests near West Arm Provincial Park to provide some excellent views from the summit of the mountain. The trail sets out from beside the highway and very quickly crosses over the flowing waters of Apex Creek before cutting through a lovely meadow with some light forest cover. From here, the trail will gradually enter into thicker sections of forest on the approach to the ridgeline.

Once at the top, hikers will need to head to the southeast on a route that traverses the rugged ridgeline to the summit of White Queen. When you arrive at the summit, you will have spectacular views that stretch east across West Arm Provincial Park, and south to the Whitewater Ski Resort, Hummingbird Peak, Ymir Mountain, and the rocky terrain of Half Dome. After you have had enough of the amazing views, head back along the same route to return to your vehicle.
