Hell Roaring Falls Trail Description
Once you arrive at Crypt Landing by boat, bike, or on foot, follow the signs for Hell Roaring Falls. You will be competing for trail space with Crypt Lake hikers if you choose to take the boat. The trail to the falls veers off the main path to the right and climbs steeply to the viewpoint. Many hikers choose to add this trail to the end of the Crypt Lake trip as they would rather descend the Hell Roaring Falls Trail than endure the slog up it.
If you choose to hike or bike your way in, you’ll save yourself some time waiting around for the boat shuttle. It has a limited schedule, so if you take the boat, consider a one-way ride while adding in the relatively flat Wishbone Trail on either end of your trip.
