The stroll to Akamina Lake is an easy trail that leads hikers 1640ft into the woods before reaching the stunning lake. This is a great little trail for those visiting Cameron Lake with the whole family. The side trip from Cameron Lake is short and accessible with great views.
Getting there
From the town of Waterton, take Highway 5 eastbound before turning left onto the Akamina Parkway. Follow the parkway to the end and park at Cameron Lake. You will find a trail kiosk with maps and signage for Akamina Lake.
