Arnett Canyon from E Arnett Road Description
From cows to lizards and deserts to woodlands, the Arnett Canyon Trail is a delightful adventure through one of Arizona’s many gorgeous canyons. This one even has a natural heart on the canyon wall! It’s a great trail for hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikers, so remember to share the trail with those around you. That being said, it’s usually not too busy out here.
There’s a bit of shade on this trail, but you’ll still want to bring lots of water and wear sunscreen and a hat if it’s warm out. You can continue further along this route or the connecting trails if you’d prefer a longer hike.
From the trailhead, take the trail that follows alongside the creek as it enters the canyon. Enjoy the quiet, the scenery, and the cool creek waters (if it’s been wet enough recently). You can amble through the canyon to where our route stops and turn back around, or you can go further if you want to keep adventuring.
