Whin Park Loop Walk Description
The Whin Park Loop Walk features a playground, a small pond, rowboats to rent, and a portion of the trail skirts along River Ness. This walk is perfect if you’re looking for a quick dose of fresh air or want a mild outdoorsy experience on a day off from other more intense Highland explorations. So bring your kids, your dog, and enjoy the relaxing loop!
From the car park, head right to pass by bathrooms and kick off the start of your circuit. When you reach the edge of Whin Park, curve right to head towards River Ness. Spend a significant amount of time walking along a path parallel to the river. When you reach the junction by the pond, choose to continue walking along River Ness or hook right to walk around the pond before meeting back up with the river. At the next intersection, take a right to make your way back to the start.
