Diana Falls Trail Description
The Diana Falls Hike is an excellent nature walk that the whole family can enjoy. Meander the dirt route through mixed woodlands and open meadows before reaching the piece de resistance. The waterfall that surges over the 20ft granite bluffs boasts an incredible scene. Open year-round; this path is best explored in the late spring-early summer. Though there are swimming holes, it is important to be mindful of the undercurrent, especially in the spring. If you have the time, pack lunch and have a picnic overlooking the falls!
Though there is no explicit signpost for the route, the Diana Falls Hike follows a well-worn path. You will be signalled that you are in the correct place by the vehicles at the trailhead. From here, head southwest through the valley amongst towering pines and through exposed meadows. As the path gently undulates, it is important to be mindful of the granite outcrops that adorn the path.
Soon the path will open to Diana Falls. Enjoy the sights of the mesmerizing cascades that surge through the canyon. If the water is calm, cool off in one of the swimming holes. When you are ready, head back along the path the way you came.
