Baldwin Trail Description
Baldwin Trail is a great short loop trail for those wanting a mostly flat hike or mountain biking trail. This route is suitable for all ages and all skill levels and offers awesome views. You’ll be right next to Cathedral Rock on the east side of the trail, which is one of Sedona’s top points of interest.
This hike is not in the shade, and Sedona can get quite hot in the summertime. We recommend bringing more water than you think you might need and packing a hat and sunscreen if you’re visiting on a hot day. There’s no water available on this trail.
Beginning from the trailhead, you can hike the loop either way. We like going counterclockwise to spend more time looking at Cathedral Rock and less time with it behind our backs. There are a few junctions, but you’ll simply stay to the inside (towards the rock you’re looping) at all of them. This will take you back to the trailhead.
