Bridge Hot Springs Hike Description

The Bridge Hot Springs Hike boasts a unique experience. Tucked away in a more residential area of the Sawtooth National Forest, this collection of springs has remained relatively undiscovered to the visiting population. As it is located in a neighborhood, hikers will have to park near the Elk Flat Campground before wandering into the forest. There is also a collection of hot springs under the bridge near the parking area, which gives the trail its name, and we encourage you to explore these more established pools. Additionally, the path is not well signposted, so a trail GPS is recommended.

Setting out from the parking lot, you will travel north over the N Pine Featherville Road, merging onto N Meyers Drive. From here, hikers will briefly wander along the roadside before diverting right onto the E Green Creek Road. Traveling northeast, you will diverge from the roadway and into the wilderness. Alternating through pine woodlands and exposed meadows, the riverside trail offers wonderful scenes of the running river.

After some hiking, you will reach a slow-moving, shallow section of the river where you can hop in and enjoy the warm water. Luxuriate in the natural hot springs, then head back along the path the way you came, back to your vehicle.
