Embark on your adventure along the Granite Lakes Trail from the trailhead off County Road 4F. From here, track southeast along the Granite Lakes Trail. This path will guide hikers along the banks of the Fryingpan River. Enjoy the sound of the rushing water and follow the path until you confront an intersection. Veer right here and you will begin a more intense climb up to the lakes. Mind your footing on the rocky terrain and keep an eye out for wildlife as you progress.
Now trekking along Granite Creek, you will notice a few small cascades before arriving at the first lake. Enjoy the scenery of the lake and take in the views of the water encircled by towering pines, before continuing your adventure up to the final lake. Revel in the sight of the shimmering lakes and then when you are ready, retrace your footing along the path back to the trailhead.
