The Netherley Brow Circular Walk is a quick adventure on the edge of the Peak District that will take you from the sleepy village of Holme around several scenic reservoirs. The trail traverses the moorland terrain along Netherley Brow before passing through the forests surrounding the Yateholme, Riding Wood, and Ramsden reservoirs. This is a nice walk with a good variety of terrain that is suitable for walkers of all skill levels.
Getting there
To reach the car park for the Netherley Brow Circular Walk from Holmfirth, drive southwest on Huddersfield Road for 2.7mi to reach the trailhead in the village of Holme. You will need to find parking nearby in the village.

Netherley Brow Circular Walk Description
The Netherley Brow Circular Walk is a great family-friendly trail near Holmfirth due to the short overall distance, easy terrain, and scenic views of the charming woodlands that can be found on the edge of the Peak District. The trail sets out from the village of Holme and heads east to cross the dam wall at Ramsden Reservoir, before turning south through a beautiful stretch of forest. From here, you will make your way southwest along the Riding Wood and Yateholme reservoirs before following the trail north across the moorland terrain of Netherley Brow. After taking in the views of the surrounding Peak District landscape, you will cross over Rake Dike and arrive back in the village of Holme where you began the walk.
