The Hull Hill Trail is a 4.8mi out-and-back hiking route south of Kamloops, BC, that meanders through the forest along a well-kept dirt road. While out on the hike, you will experience a serene woodland atmosphere and even catch a few glimpses of mountain peaks poking out about the tree canopy. The trail is dog off-leash friendly; however, there are free-ranging cattle in the area, so make sure to keep an eye on your canine companions to avoid any incidents.
Getting there
To reach the trailhead for the Hull Hill Trail from Kamloops, drive southwest on BC-1 for 2.1mi and take exit 366 off the highway. Continue for 984ft and turn left onto Copperhead Drive, following it for 623ft. Turn right onto Lac Le Jeune Road and continue along it for 9.7mi before turning left onto Goose Lake Road. After 1312ft, you will find the trailhead on the right.

Hull Hill Trail Description
Hiking the Hull Hill Trail is a easy-going and relaxing outdoor experience in the North Thompson Valley that will allow you to fully appreciate the natural beauty of this picturesque woodland landscape. Setting out from the parking area, make your way along the wide dirt road as it climbs gently uphill and crosses over Anderson Creek. Keep right to follow the road as it winds through the serene forest setting and passes by a small, rundown log cabin on the right. From here, the route will cross over another stream and pass through some open sections of brush-filled meadow, where you will occasionally see some free-range cattle. Continue on until you get to the end of the trail. Once there, turn around and make your way back along the same route to return to the parking lot below.
