Swinton Park to Swinton Bivouac Walk Description

The Swinton Park to Swinton Bivouac Walk is a wonderful stroll full of different experiences. Beginning at the Country Club and Spa, head to the shop to purchase your ticket (dogs welcome) and then venture out into the garden. Follow the gravel path between the vegetable beds and onto the flower beds and exit through the Parkland, Lakes and Spring Garden sign. Continue on past Coffin Pond and take the path called Quarry Loop.

As you continue, you will follow a stone wall, taking care as this area of the path can be rough terrain and end up at the ruins of Lobley Hall. Take your time to explore this area and when you are ready, continue following the path navigating a few gates, and you will come to a vantage point, where you will be able to see the stone buildings of the Swinton Bivouac centre. Follow the path until you reach the Bistro Cafe, where the path ends and you can enjoy some refreshments.
