Reptile Centre Discovery Trail Description
The Reptile Centre Discovery Trail is a fun trail that immerses the entire family in nature! Expect to follow along a gravel path that includes fun interactive add-ons, such as a “what can you see” that invites you to look into a telescope and a “look up” part that has you lying on a wooden bench. After you finish the lollipop route, you can check out the visitor centre, where you’ll find information on nature! This is also a multi-use trail, so expect to share the path with bicycles. Dogs can also accompany you but must stay on a lead.
From the trailhead, you’ll follow the path, flanked by trees, toward an intersection that branches left and right. Keep right to start your loop around. The route stays primarily within the trees but briefly opens up near the start of the circuit. When you get back to the same initial intersection, head back the way you came to complete your lollipop route.
