Kingswear, Dittisham, and Dartmouth Trail Descritpion

The Kingswear, Dittisham, and Dartmouth Loop is a popular route for walkers in Devon that are looking for a full-day adventure with plenty of highlights. Setting out from the trailhead, you will initially make your way west to meet up with the banks of the River Dart, following it north across the undulating landscape to reach Greenway House, a former holiday home of Agatha Christie. From here, you will take the ferry across the river to Dittisham, where you will turn to the south to climb uphill for some stunning views overlooking the windfing banks of the river. Continue down the opposite side of the hill and follow the edge of the water to the southwest, working around the banks of Old Mill Creek before completing the final leg of the walk through Dartmouth. After exploring the historic streets, you will take the Dartmouth Pedestrian Ferry back across the river, continuing to the northeast for a short distance to reach the trailhead.
